The agenda for the meeting has now been published. The minutes of last years meeting are also available.
We plan to provide an Internet live stream of the AGM for anyone unable to attend in person, though we can't promise to achieve this because it will depend on the quality of the internet connection available on the day.
This will only be a 'broadcast' - members watching on line will not be able to ask questions or address the meeting, and they will not be able to vote.
Details of how to join the live stream will appear here nearer the time.
The Association's Rule 3a currently say that "The Lord Bishop of Ely shall be invited to be the Patron of the Association". Since the Bishop of Ely is not necessarily a ‘Lord’ the General Committee have agreed to propose to the 2026 AGM that the rule be changed to read "The Bishop of Ely shall be invited to be the Patron of the Association".
At the AGM there will be four vacancies for Association officers:
General Secretary
Recruitment and Training Officer
Public Relations Officer
Bell Advisor
Could you fill one of these roles? All posts are open to any member of the Association, and will receive support from other members. The Recruitment and Training Officer and the Bell Advisor lead dedicated teams that help with the work.
Full role descriptions cane be found in the Association's Regulations. if you are interested, please contact the General Secretary for more information or have a chat with the current role holder. The Bell Advisor is a technical role that needs approval by the General Committee prior to the AGM.
